Life. Life bores me. Just hear me out before you call my therapist. I read so many books and write so many stories that normal everyday life is just…boring. There are no dragons to fight or ride. No vampires to track down and manipulate into turning me. There are no fairy rings to jump in or fairy doors to avoid. There are no aliens that are flying into the earth’s atmosphere to abduct me. I am not some random damsel in distress who decides to save herself.
I am just another human trying to make it in this normal boring average world. And honestly, the world we live in today may be a little scarier than a world full of dragons and vampires. I would love to find myself in a world where I have to put garlic on my door to keep away the vamps. I don’t know that I would, as I am dying to meet a vampire. If you know one, please send them my way.
So the one thing that bores me more than anything is life. Basic average life. Maybe it would be more fun if I was rich and could travel the world. Maybe it would be more fun if I didn’t have to go to work every day or work so hard to dig myself out of debt. I don’t even know, but some days it is hard to just crawl out of bed!
