What would I do if I won the lotter?
The current lottery is 46 million dollars. I think the first thing I would do would be pass out, but I have been preparing for this my whole life. I would take the lump sum which according to my google is close to 20 million dollars. Half of that would go into a high yield savings that would earn me a yearly salary so I don’t have to go back to work. Chances are, I will still work for a little bit. I love the structure of work and I will have things to do.
I would buy a giant piece of property. The biggest bit of land I can buy within the area I want to live. Then I would have builders out to build my home, my mom a home, and my brother a home. But that would just be the beginning because there are a few friends I would want to build homes for as well. I would have a subdivision that I owned and gave homes to who ever I wanted to give it to.

I would take care of all my outstanding debts, including that pesky student loan that I feel like I am never going to pay off. Along with my mom and brother’s debts. There may be a few friends whose debt I would pay off as well.
Now, when building my house there were be some things special in my house. Like a library with ladders and reading nooks. I would have a nice big kitchen and several rooms. Not that any of my friends would need a guest room to visit, because they would either be living in the same neighborhood or they would stay in the guest house! So…honestly I don’t need a big house. I would have a building just for big events that I could rent out for weddings and birthdays, so it would make money in the long run as well. I will not be responsible for taxes on any of the homes, unless no one is living in it. I will put in a lot of money to make my life easier, that’s for sure.
Honestly, thinking about having that much money is kind of exhausting.
The most important part though, would be the library. I would never have to budget for another book!
